SHE READS TRUTH BOOK by Raechel Myers & Amanda Bible Williams
If you know me at all, you know that I love the company, SheReadsTruth. I’ve been following them for years, since the classic Bible journal days, and I am hooked! I love everything that they put out. From the monthly devotionals to the SRT Bible, because everything is well made, purposeful, and best of all, chock full of important truths.
I share my passion for SheReadsTruth because it was an answer to prayer for me when I was looking for a relevant, woman oriented, & practical devotional. It has proven to be a great source for encouragement and growth. All that to say, it was a no brainer to incorporate one of the first books that SheReadsTruth founders, Amanda & Sarah, produced as part of today’s prize.
This book is dedicated to encouraging us to find and cling on to the truth of God & His Word. It’s common amongst us busy women to depend more on ourselves than God, we know He’s there and openly praise Him but deep down we’re trusting ourselves to get stuff done. We tend to realize the need for God and His truth when things become difficult, we want something to hold on to and reassure us, instill confidence. It’s also at that time that our faith is most tested, we have more questions that need answers, and we challenge that truth.
I love that this book doesn’t shun the idea of wrestling with our faith. I truly believe that we have to wrestle with these truths to really own and believe them. This book helps us to find the answers to our questions, wrestle with those answers so that we certain they are true, and bring about a stronger faith than before by sharing the personal journeys of the two SheReadsTruth founders. The book is filled with Scripture and biblical application, pointing you back to the bigger picture–Christ. If this perks your interest, you can find the book on Amazon.
TWO HIGHLIGHTERS from The Daily Grace Co.
I am a huge advocate for marking your Bible, primarily because I am such a visual learner. I love to use this highlighter set because it highlights what I want without bleeding through to the other side, which is so easy to do with those thin Bible pages.
Rather than ink, the highlighter is made of gel. The texture is slightly waxy and smooth, use it like a crayon. There are several colors available as either a single highlighter or a set, all very vibrant so you don’t have to worry about being able to see the words on the page. You can find the pens/highlighters on the Daily Grace Co. website.
STICKER SET from The Daily Grace Co.
If we’re talking about Bible marking than we need to talk about stickers. Cute, floral stickers that is! I don’t have to explain to you the fun that is stickers. Just because we don’t get to pick one out at the dentist anymore, doesn’t mean you’re too old to love them. I grew up in the era of sticker albums & Lisa Frank–remember those days? As an avid sticker collector at heart, these stickers spoke to me.
This is a set of 3 sheets, with a variety of shapes & sizes to decorate whatever marking you may want to do. It’s an easy way to accentuate & flag your notes. I mean you don’t need stickers but you NEED stickers. You can find this set and other fun patterns on the Daily Grace Co store.
MINI VERSE CARDS from French Press Mornings
Ok, technically I bought these cards as part of the ABC Scripture Pocket pack from SheReadsTruth, but Jenny of French Press Mornings is the designer. French Press Mornings is another longtime favorite. I started following her as a young, married college student on a budget.
I was able to download a new, FREE, scripture printable every Wednesday on the FPM blog to decorate our apartment—and I still do a weekly check-in. Since those days, I’ve purchased sets of mini scripture cards and favorite prints. I love to hang a variety of mini cards in a decorative frame but I also use them as bookmarks, taped to a mirror, or framed on the wall. I love that it keeps scripture in front of me, helping me to reflect on it often. Plus it’s just pretty! You can find more of Jenny’s amazing designs on her Etsy shop.
So there you have it, DAY ONE of the launch week giveaway! Make sure to subscribe to the blog for tomorrow’s super cool prize. Enjoy your Saturday and I’ll check back in tomorrow morning.
