It’s day eleven & we are officially in crazy hustle mode, people.
It seems like every year I come up with a solid gifting list only to realize, within a week before Christmas, that I still need a few more items to round things out.
It never fails.
If you’re finding yourself in the same predicament, allow me to introduce: room spray.
You only need a few ingredients & a cute bottle. Ba-da bing ba-da boom…presto gifto!
OR you could always whip up a batch to get rid of that “lived in” smell before your in-laws arrive.
Either way, it’s stinking easy & you need to get some in your life. Preferably stat.
WHAT YOU NEED
4 tablespoonfuls of WITCH HAZEL
3/4 cup of WATER
20 drops of ESSENTIAL OIL
a super cute SPRAY BOTTLE
my favorite, festive essential oil scents include:
PINE + ORANGE
VANIILA EXTRACT + ORANGE + CINNAMON + CLOVE
FRANKINCENSE + MYRRH + ORANGE
JOY + ORANGE
THIEVES + PEPPERMINT
ORANGE + CLOVE + NUTMEG + CINNAMON
CINNAMON + PEPPERMINT + LEMON
THIEVES + ORANGE
PEPPERMINT + ORANGE + VANILLA EXTRACT
FRANKINCENSE + GRAPEFRUIT + PINE
And you know, they’re pretty so it’s worth it. 😉
WHAT TO DO
No need for steps, it’s so simple!
Mix up your witch hazel, water, & essential oils.
For this recipe, I added 10 drops of each oil.
Water & oil don’t mix, so you need that witch hazel to distill the oils.
The measurements that I shared above come out to approximately ONE CUP of spray (which just so happen to fit perfectly in the bottles that I’m using).
Do a little stirring action with your measuring spoon if you’re high class like me. 😉
Then grab a funnel & pour your wonderfully scented concoction into your bottle.
THEN USE IT.
It’s so quick that I could easily get carried away with filling every available bottle in our house.
I have this same scent diffusing as soon as I get home each night–mmm, so delicious.
For me, these guys make room spray a necessity.
But they’re so cute…I’ll deal with it.
Nobody likes stank, so I’m thinking that this will make an awesome gift (that doesn’t look like you made it last minute) for just about anybody.
Of course it looks so cute all wrapped up & ready to gift.
Ok, I’m going to try to contain my excitement for our LAST DAY of this series.
I’ve had a lot of fun experimenting with & putting together these last minute projects for you & your Christmas list.
I have one more up my sleeve & of course, it’s super simple–Amazon Prime friendly–and something that your friends & family will love to use!
With that said, can’t wait to meet up again tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by, friend. xx
